1. Overview

    This Refund Policy applies to all subscription services provided by Recuvery LLC.

    Recuvery provides software services on a subscription basis. By subscribing to our Service, you agree to this Refund Policy.

2. Subscription Fees

    All subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually), depending on the selected plan. Prices are processed, charged, and settled strictly in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and may be subject to applicable GST/HST depending on your location.

3. Refund Eligibility

    Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

    However, refund exceptions may be evaluated exclusively at Recuvery’s reasonable discretion in the following circumstances:

    • Duplicate Payments: If our billing system accidentally charges your payment method twice for the same billing period.
    • Internal Platform Billing Errors: System errors on our platform resulting in an incorrect tier fee.
    • Verified Unauthorised Transactions: Validated cases of fraud before a platform account is locked.

    To be eligible for review under these exceptions, you must submit an official request to our support team within thirty (30) days of the disputed invoice date. Where a refund is approved, it will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

4. Free Trials

    If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. The duration of the free trial will be clearly stated at the time of sign-up.

    To avoid charges, you must cancel your subscription before the end of the trial period.

5. Cancellation

    You may cancel your subscription at any time.

    • Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle
    • No further charges will be applied after cancellation
    • No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the billing period

6. Exceptional Circumstances

    Refund requests outside the above conditions may be considered on a case-by-case basis at Recuvery’s sole discretion.

    6a. Chargebacks: We encourage subscribers to contact us at support@recuveryapp.ca before initiating a chargeback with their payment provider. We will make every reasonable effort to resolve disputes directly. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of the account pending investigation.

7. Statutory Rights

    Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable law.
